How it fits together

Great picture and sound are planned, not just plugged in

Most entertainment frustrations come from placement, hidden wiring and too many remotes. Tap a glowing dot to see the four parts we focus on.

Mounted at the right height, wires out of sight

We choose a bracket that suits the wall and how you sit, set the screen at a comfortable height, and route power and HDMI inside the wall so nothing hangs below the TV.

  • Fixed, tilt or articulating bracket for the room
  • Power and HDMI routed inside the wall
  • Fireplace, plaster and masonry walls assessed first

Where to start

Which sounds most like you?

Pick the closest match. It fills in the request form so you do not have to start from a blank page.

  • Mount a TV and hide the wires

    • A new or existing TV going on the wall
    • Over a fireplace or on plaster, brick or stone
    • Cables, power and streaming boxes out of sight

We check the wall and the height, then mount the TV and route the cabling so the wall looks finished.

    Plan my TV install
  • Better sound or a movie room

    • Dialog is hard to hear or sound is uneven
    • A soundbar, surround sound or projector setup
    • A basement or family room that should feel like a theater

We recommend what suits the room and budget, place everything carefully, and set it up so it starts with one button.

    Talk about my sound
  • Music in every room, inside and out

    • Sonos or ceiling speakers in several rooms
    • A patio, pool or backyard zone
    • Rooms that play in sync and are simple to control

We plan which rooms get sound, keep coverage even, and set up groups and names that make sense.

Soundbar or speakers

Choosing your sound system, and what affects the price

The most common question we get is how much sound the room really needs. Here is the short version.

Soundbar compared with Speakers and receiver
FeatureSoundbarSpeakers and receiver
SetupOne unit under the TV, simple to live with.Several speakers, a receiver and a subwoofer, with wiring to plan.
SoundA big step up from TV speakers, especially for dialog.Wider, fuller sound with real separation around the room.
Best forBedrooms, smaller living rooms and everyday viewing.Larger rooms, theaters and people who watch movies often.
CostLower equipment cost and quicker to install.Higher equipment cost, with more installation work.

Bottom line: We match the system to the room and how you watch, not to the longest spec list.

Soundbar vs speakers and receiver

What affects the cost

Every room is different, so we quote after seeing the space. These are the main factors.

  1. Screen size and wall type

Larger TVs need stronger mounting, and plaster, brick or stone walls take more care.

  2. Power and cabling

Hiding the wires inside the wall takes extra work, and a new outlet may need an electrician.

  3. Number of speakers and rooms

A single soundbar is a small job. Several rooms, ceiling speakers or an outdoor zone add up.

  4. Equipment and where it lives

A rack, cabinet or closet for the gear, and the controls you want on top.

Whole-home audio

Sonos or a wired in-ceiling system?

We set up both and recommend whichever fits the house and how you want to use it.

Sonos

A good fit when you want simple and flexible

  • Add one room at a time and grow over the years
  • Control from the Sonos app, voice or the TV remote
  • Works with soundbars, speakers and outdoor options
  • Relies on solid Wi-Fi, which we can check or improve

Wired in-ceiling system

A good fit when you want speakers out of sight

  • Ceiling or in-wall speakers that disappear into the room
  • Best planned during a renovation, when walls are open
  • One amplifier can feed several rooms or zones
  • More planning up front, with speaker wire run to each room

FAQ

Common questions about TV and audio installation

Short answers before you get in touch. If yours is not here, ask us.

Can you hide the wires when mounting a TV?

In most cases, yes. We route power and HDMI inside the wall so the TV looks clean. In some walls, such as masonry or walls with fire blocking, we will tell you what is practical and suggest a neat alternative.

TV mounting height and hidden power

How high should a TV be mounted?

As a rule of thumb, the center of the screen sits at seated eye height, typically 42 to 48 inches from the floor for a standard sofa. We check the viewing distance and the room and adjust, especially over a fireplace.

Do I need a soundbar or a full speaker system?

A good soundbar is enough for many rooms. Larger rooms and dedicated theaters usually sound better with speakers, a receiver and a subwoofer. We will recommend what suits the room and your budget.

Soundbar or speakers and receiver?

Can you set up Sonos in several rooms?

Yes. We plan which rooms get sound, install the equipment, name and group the rooms sensibly, and check that Wi-Fi is solid enough for steady playback.

Sonos room-by-room planning

Can you install outdoor speakers?

Yes. We plan coverage so music is even and at conversation level, and use outdoor-appropriate speakers and wiring. They can be added to a Sonos setup for easy control.

Planning outdoor audio

Do you install projectors and screens?

Yes. We size the projector and screen to the room and seating, handle the mounting and wiring, and adjust the picture for your lighting. We can also help you decide whether a projector or a large TV is the better fit.

Projector or TV for a home theater

Can you work with equipment I already own?

Often, yes. We review what you have, reuse what works well, and tell you where an upgrade would make the biggest difference.

How long does an install take, and what do I get at the end?

A single TV mount is often a single visit. A theater or whole-home audio project can take a few days, and we give you a realistic schedule with the written scope. At the end you get a walkthrough of the controls and a short reference sheet.
